Bookmarks
Bookmarks let you save posts you want to return to, without any public signal to the author or your followers.
Saving a bookmark
Tap the bookmark icon on any post to save it. The icon fills to confirm the save. Tap it again to remove the post from your bookmarks.
How bookmarks are stored
Your bookmark list is stored as a Nostr Kind 10003 replaceable event, signed with your key and published to your relays. This means:
- Synced across sessions — log in from a different device or browser and your bookmarks are fetched from your relays automatically.
- Private — only you can see your bookmarks. The Kind 10003 event is not intended to be shared publicly, and Maskr does not expose it to other users.
- Portable — because the list is a standard Nostr event, any other client that supports Kind 10003 can also read and display your bookmarks.
Viewing your bookmarks
Open the Bookmarks tab from the sidebar or profile menu to see all saved posts in reverse-chronological order. From this view you can read, reply, or remove any bookmark.
